Student Leadership Workshop, 2010 Convention

“The reality dawned on me that I was surrounded by people who respected each other, what they had written, and whose questions were meant not to puncture, but to probe." Read complete story.

Attendee Groups

Certainly the primary reasons most people decide to attend a Sigma Tau Delta international convention are to hear the featured speakers and to present their papers and creative works to an attentive audience. Yet so much more is available to all who attend the convention. Numerous events and activities are designed with special appeal to members of one or more of our attendee groups:

Students
Alumni
Sponsors and other Faculty
Members of Sigma Kappa Delta

The Student Leadership Committee offers activities each day, events with particular appeal for the students in attendance at the convention. Alumni will also find events designed specifically to appeal to their varied interests. Likewise, Sponsors and other Faculty will have several opportunities to mingle and exchange ideas. For their students and faculty, Sigma Kappa Delta, the English Honor Society for two-year colleges, hosts numerous events and activities designed specifically for and by their members.

The Sigma Tau Delta convention experience may take on differing forms for a wide variety of attendees, but all who attend will delight in sharing this celebration of love of language and literature.
